I know what it takes to produce something extraordinary. And I know exactly how it feels to watch that work get posted as a blurry iPhone photo with a generic caption and three hashtags.
That's not the story your work deserves to tell. So I built a company to tell it better.
What I Actually Do
I create content and manage social media for the people who make events happen — and for the couples and hosts who want their celebration documented like it actually looked.
For event professionals: I show up already knowing your world. The timeline pressure. The vendor choreography. The moment the room transforms. I know where to stand before the moment happens — because I've spent twenty years in that room. That's not something you can learn from a content marketing course. It's institutional knowledge. And it's in every shot I take, every caption I write, and every strategy I build.

Meet the founderHi. I'm Kristen Holbrook, founder of Wildly Rooted Productions, certified yoga instructor, EDM festival enthusiast, wife & mom of three, and the person who has spent her entire career making everyone else's events absolutely unforgettable.
After 20+ years in hospitality, catering, and event production, generating over $1.5 million in annual sales, running full-scale luxury events, and building systems that made other people's visions come to life — I decided it was time to throw my own party. Literally.
I grew up in this industry. My mom founded Two Women in a Kitchen. My uncle built Jeff Thomas Catering, one of Cincinnati's most respected catering companies. I started as a line cook, worked my way through kitchens, warehouses, logistics, staffing, sales, and operations, and somewhere along the way I realized something: I don't just love events. I believe in them.
I believe throwing a great event is an art form. It takes a very specific kind of brain — one that is equally creative and obsessively organized. Not one or the other. Both. At the same time. While everything is happening at once and your chef lets you know that the main entrée was left at the kitchen, and the mother of the bride is letting you know that five more guests showed up and need to be added to table 11, you're still smiling like everything is absolutely fine… because it is. Because you planned for this.
That's the brain I have. And after two decades of using it to build other people's dreams, I took the leap and built my own.
